I know I can't quote the whole book but this is another powerful part about leadership.
"The only way you will alienate your daughter in the long term is by losing her respect, failing to lead, or failing to protect her. If you don't provide for her needs, she will find someone else who will--and that's when the trouble starts. Don't let that happen."
The more I'm reading this book makes me want to homeschool Anita and barely let her out of the house with all of the dangers that are becoming increasingly worse. Bought a powerball ticket today just in case.
