Denny and Sandy

The last two weeks have been busy for sure and our constant thoughts and prayers have been with Denny and Sandy as well as cousin Brad and his family.  Denny had back surgery last week and also found out he has cancer.  He is now in Champain, Ill at the rehab center and we are praying for all the best for him and his family.  Cousin Brad and his wife Rachel have been in Uganda and have now returned with their precious little girl.  Prayers do come true.  Anita has been feeling pretty good the last few days and has started on a new allergy medicine, Zyrtec.  Jim finally had a Saturday off so we were able to go to the mall together and let Anita play on the playground.  When we first walked in there was music playing and she began to dance.  She had fun running around the playground and climbing through the tunnel.  She wanted no part of the carousel and lucky for us she can now say NO loud and clear.  We then walked down the mall and she had fun looking in the windows at clothes.  She seems to have a real eye for fancy dresses and would yell and point at those.  Our last stop was the bookstore and there grandpa found us.  Anita was very sweet to share her snack with him so he could keep up with grandma shopping.  Today we all went to visit Aunt Linda who celebrated a b'day this week.  Anita show Aunt Linda and Uncle David some of her tricks and also helped to rearrange some of the items in their home.  Luckily nothing was broken that we are aware of.  More good news is Jim's sister is now back from Mexico after being gone close to six weeks.  She's soaking in the tub after a 48 hour bus ride.  In one week we have a court date to finalize Anita's adoption.  Trying not to get excited or hopeful until the actual day for fear it will get rescheduled.  Hoping this week goes quickly without a phone call from the attorney other than possibly reminding us when/where to be for court.  Then an extended weekend to begin the celebration of Anita being home with us forever.  For Sandy- hope you don't mind me putting up this great picture of you guys.
