Day 19

Anita had been making improvements last week but then Tuesday night she started sneezing and coughing a little.  Wednesday throughout the day she was coughing more and the doctor said we could give her cough medicine but not to worry unless she developed a fever since she is still on Amoxicillin.  By 5pm she had a fever and we were back to urgent care last night.  New diagnosis of tonsillitis with new antibiotic, I believe it is Omnicef.  Her tonsils were described as gigantic and the reason for her cough was due to that.  She is eating lots of popsicles and full of medicine today.  Rough night where she couldn't swallow her drink so she had medication and popsicles until she could drink and then she was able to sleep.  Hoping to find answers for her health concerns so she can begin enjoying life a little more.  Great news yesterday was that we finally have a court date on March 7th, 1pm at District Court.  The finalization is so close.  I've been reading Brad/Rachel's blog about their journey with adoption and only wish we lived closer and could have shared some of our ups/downs and emotional turmoil.  Praying continuously for their safety as they travel and bring home their little girl.  We have been lucky to have ours with us through a good portion of this process.  Can't wait to have this process over and Anita will be stuck with us forever into eternity.  This morning she was a little growly and I told her that her name will be Anita Bear Tobin.  But, the truth is her name will be Anita Lidia Tobin.  She is still our little bear though.
