At the end of the day on my birthday Jim ran to walmart to pick up Similac as we were almost out and I was already giving Anita the end of it while preparing to go to bed. He came back and let me know that Similac in the container we use is on recall. We looked it up and of course ours were for sure on recall due to beetles and larvae in the formula. Result is gastrointestinal problems and diarrhea. The exact problems Anita has had for two and a half weeks now. Grandpa said we should call her beetle. Poor baby, Jim did purchase Similac in a different container and as soon as we finish it she will start on whole milk. We're hoping this resolves her problem but we're pretty angry with Similac.
Poor little Anita. It is so good, though, to finally have an answer to her health problems. Is Similac taking any kind of responsibility for this? You have put a lot of time and money (not to mention Anita's suffering!) into all her ouchie tummy issues. Hugs to all! And seriously, when are we getting together!!??
